High-End Active Acceleration Controlled Loudspeaker with Doppler Compensation
Purpose of the document:
Are High-End and DIY contradictory terms? The article series published in the AudioXpress October, November and Dezember issues 2026 demonstrates how to systematically design and realize an active loudspeaker—where each driver is powered by its dedicated power amplifier—with acceleration control and with Doppler compensation. The detailed design and realization should be approachable by the DIY community.

This is a PockedCAS file, which will run on all Apple devices (MAC as well as iPad and iPhone). It requires the PocketCAS application, which can be downloaded from the Apple Store at moderate cost.

All values are according to the mks (Meter, Kilogram, Second) system. The only exception is the acceleration, which is shown in g = 9.8 m/s2 (32 ft/s2), the gravity acceleration of the Earth.
